Progetto CONTEXT: 2nd Call for Short Term Scientific Missions (1STSM)

IT:  Il network CONTEXT, tramite il framework COST, organizza “2nd Call for Short Term Scientific Missions“, borsa di studio offerta ai Dottorandi e a chi sta facendo i primi passi nel mondo del tessile. Con “missioni” si intendono visite istituzionali atte a supportare la mobilità individuale e promuovere collaborazioni fra individui.

Durante il corso si struttura in cinque working groups, che tratteranno i seguenti argomenti:

  1. Smart Textiles per la salute e le applicazioni mediche.
  2. Smart Textiles per autoveicoli e applicazioni aeronautiche.
  3. Smart Textiles per applicazioni di sicurezza del personale.
  4. Smart Textiles per le costruzioni
  5. Smart Textiles per gli sport e applicazioni indossabili.

EN: The CONTEXT project, via COST framework, organises “2nd Call for Short Term Scientific Missions”. STSMs are institutional visits aimed at supporting invidual mobility, fostering collaboration between individuals and are primarily addressed to PhD students or postdoctoral fellows.

This grant is a fixed contribution based on the requested budget which is evaluated by the STSM coordinator. The grand is for travel and subsistence costs only. It does not necessarily cover all such expenses.

After the STSM, the participant must submit a scientific report to the Host and to the STSM coordinator within 30 days after the end of his/her stay.

We invite you to apply for one of proposed topics related to specific Working Group objectives:

  1. Smart Textiles for health and medical applications
  2. Smart Textiles for automotive and aeronautic applications
  3. Smart Textiles for personal protection applications
  4. Smart Textiles for building and living applications
  5. Smart Textiles for sports and wearable’s applications
